Hello!

What I think:

Well i have been using this along with a ton of other junk to help my skin go back to normal and clear state! I just seem to be reacting to a lot of things lately, but this one has helped me a ton, especially because of all the salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide, retinol, glycolic acid... LOL .... that i have been slathering on my face...that stuff can be drying =D

I can honestly say that my face has not dried out from all the anti acne creams i have been using for a while.  not at all.  This is so light and moisturizing,  It feels robust-ish but as you rub it in it soaks in and leaves a velvety smooth face....i have even skipped primer!

what i really love is the fact that it controls my oily skin and t-zone.  it SERIOUSLY does.  I produce so much oil on my t-zone that it could fill a McDs fryer, so when i saw what this did for me my jaw dropped.  to thinh all that makeup i could have purchased instead of all those expensive primers and moisturizers.... :*(
I havr been using this in the morning only, under my Hard Candy Primer and EDM mineral foundations and it wirks great.  I can see my matte face for hours and hours....and it still moisturized and soft despite acne meds.  oh i adore this one....now watch my face go back to 'normal' then 'dry' LOL.  I had dry skin for years. go figure!

well i rambled too much.  needless to say, i am not sleepy but im tired, Physics and Chemistry are draining me.  To think that i hated writing all those 10 pagers i did my last semester....i seriously rather write a paper than do Chem or Phys!  Dang Med School Requirements =(

  2. You don't suck at chemistry. Dimethicone is part of the silicone family and works as a protective barrier aiding in retaining moisture as well as protecting the skin from environmental damage. Silicones are awesome because they also glide/melt into the skin and assist in providing for that smooth and velvet feel. And you're right Tocopherol is a form of Vitamin E.

The only real bugger I always have about drug store or common makeup companies is their inclusion of Retinol derivatives (ie: the retinyl palmitate) because they never forewarn women that you must not use products with it during pregnancy or when trying to conceive. The same is true of many acne topicals (salicylic acids and benzoyl peroxide) because they all absorb into blood stream and are known for causing birth defects. I wish companies spent more time educating so women could during those times exercise safe beauty care through alternatives. Retinol is a great anti ager and assister in acne care, but during that time period you can't use it.
