No More Shine!

Hello...How is it going for you all ladies?

Well I am relieved to tell you that I am DONE witn my last 10-page paper...Yayuh!  I only have one more final next week and I am DONE, DONE, DONE!

I will be graduating next Friday Dec 17, I am now beginning to get all happy =D  I will post pics of my Cap n Gown (I hate the colors =/ ) and the announce ments I chose sometime tomorrow.

On to the good stuff:  I recently purchased this moisturizer for oily skin from Avon.  I am not an Avon girl, but like to buy things here and there.  I have tempermental skin, so it tends to be super oily all the time, even with primer (i guess i grow immune to primers....or maybe i have not found my HG primer).  I have tried a lot, and i mean a lot of stuff for acne/oil, and this sounded interesting, plus it was not too expensive ($16), and had great reviews (4.5 out of 5 stars from 137 reviews)

mark Matte Chance Mattifying Lotion

AVON.COM describes it as :

If you want it all—skin that’s moisturized but totally shine-free then try this light, oil-free moisturizer that says bye-bye to shine with a super blend of oil absorbers to help create an up-close-and-perfect finish. Plus, a dose of sugar cane—a natural alpha-hydroxy—keeps skin fresh and glowing.

1.7 fl. oz.   oil-free • non-comedogenic • fragrance-free

My Verdict:

It really works! I works way better than anything i have tried.  I use it in the a.m. as a moisturizer before primer and it does suck up all the oil.  My face has been pretty matte all day.  whenever I blot, I dont see much oil (keep in mind i blot like 5 hourd after i initially put makeup on).  It does make my skin so soft...i even feel like i need a "heavy" moisturizer at nightime, but i dont.  I have used this with mineral foundation, liquid and BB creams and no problem at all.

I am impressed and i will repurchase as i ran out.  I love the dispensing pump.  you press down and the lotion squirts up.  It is mess-free and clean since you can just wipe the pump with alcohol (think the LANEIGe Sno Crystal foundation pump).  One full pump is almost too much, so i so small dots at a time and a little goes a long way.

I am just too happy that my face is not oily as it was before.  So, are you ladies Avon junkies? Any favorite primers for oily skin?

I am just hoping i dont grow "immune" to it bc i love it sooo much!

  3. Yay! Congrats on finally finishing school!I always wanted to try that Mark product but I have dry skin idk if it will help keep my dry skin moisturized. Sometimes the lightest creams can still make my feel dry :/. I am an Avon junkie though :X I am obsessed with lipsticks from there. I love Avon! I feel Mark is overpriced and their items are small. I rather go to MAC instead of buying anything from Mark :o.
