NYC Skin Matching Foundation

Hello ladies!

I have been MIA all weekend/week but i am slowly catching up! I had a physics exam to study for, and its all done and over with,  so time for some makeup lol!

I went to Walmart this evening and i came across a few NEW items from NYC!  never get to see the new stuff early enough (i also saw the Hard Candy Foxy blushers but the only color that looked promising was out of stock).  I was more interested in their new longwear lipstains but dang, the flew off the shelf because all they had was the reds and pinks...and i have tooooooooo many pink lipcolors, so i settled for this foundation out of the 2 they offered:

I will post a picture wearing this foundation soon =D

This is what their website is advertising:

Benefits
Breakthrough tone-to-tone shade-adjusting technology adapts to skin's color and texture Formula blends seamlessly for a natural, flawless & radiant-looking complexion Enriched with moisturizers, blend of essential minerals and vitamins A, C and E Lightweight and hydrating formula.
Stays all day long
Dermatologist tested
For all skin types Key Ingredients
Nourishing Vitamins A, C and E
Skin moisturizers
A blend of skin-loving minerals

Their actual ingredient list on the packaging states the following:
Water
MINERAL OIL
Propylene Glycol
Glycerine...and after a couple more...TALC!
plus more junk lol

SO i didnt see the Vit E, A and C or the minerals this claims to have.  Perhaps they are listed toward the end of the list, however, that has no validity in my opinion.

In the swatches, the color came off as too light (i got the fair-light bc the light was a tad too beige) it did blend perfectly and feels incredible lightweight and non greasy! it has a slight "baby powdery" scent, but not too overwhelming.  Overall, the texture can be comared to that of a tinted moisturizer, so im sure it will not have good coverge.

I will wear this one tomorrow and test it out.  I am a little scared due to the mineral oil being the 2nd ingredient, but i will risk getting breakouts....i will within 3 days if its not a good match for me lol!

Im so excited about all the new and improved inexpensive drugstore brands. About time they stepped up their game....I will be back for more items and maybe some of the Hard candy Foxy boxes and that new concealer they have =D
