This is just a quick post to share my alternative to MAC's Fix+. As i have mentioned before, I have oily, acne prone, sensitive skin, and with finals, my face has been horrible lately! I love, adore, etc my MAC Fix+, i think its the greatest invention after sliced bread, however, it makes my face extra super oily when i use it to set my makeup. I love it as everything else (mixing medium, hair mist, body moisturizer after shaving etc) but as a setting spray it just dont work =(
So, I was al ULTA recently (not Black Friday though hahah) and I got sold on this little find. I rarely stroll by the skin care stuff, but since I had time to kill, no HW (right) not baby with me, well i went nuts lol.
I am eager to try some of theit acne stuff, but after i asked for recommendations, i was told that most of it is for severe acne, or Cystic Acne, which thankfully it is not my case, so i dod not pick up any skincare....just this:
A refreshing, hydrating mist to use anywhere anytime. Simply formulated with fragrant Herbal Extracts and Rosewater for a pleasant, pick me up for dehydrated, tight and uncomfortable skin. Spray your day and night creams for a boost of hydration or use it to set make-up or spray on dry hair throughout the day. Safe for all skin types. Gentle, non-irritating.

It Has a rose smell, which may be a little grandma-ish for most of us, but it lasts like 40 secs. i have used it as a setting spray, refresher, moisutirzing toner, on top of my night cream etc, and i must say, I LOVE it. The best part is that i do not get oily as i do with my Fix+, so this means less sebum, less acne= prettier skin! my makeup has not run, so i guess it does the job.
I picked up the 4oz bottle, and i have been abusing it and i only wasted a tiny bit (bottle still full). the best thing is the price, at $7 a bottle, Hells yea i was SOLD!
so far i think this will permanently replace my FIX+,since it suits my skin better and Fix+ is not worth the $18 if i only need it as a mixing medium or moisturizing mist. This does it all but the mixing medium thing (for that, i get the one from The Body Needs at $1.79 per eyedrop bottle szed bottle)
So have you guys tried this or any of the Mario Badescu line?
You know what I have the same issue with Fix+. Its great to mix w/pigments and other tasks like for spritzing on your hair but on my face it accentuates my pores more and makes me oily. I have been using All nighter by Urban Decay but not everyday only weekends when I go out. I will try this though its much cheaper.
