Face Primer For Oily skin

Hello!

I know, it has been soooo long since I posted! School is getting easier, so I will be posting more. I still read everyone else's blog in between studying and homework =D

I went nutz and bought some stuff last in the last couple of weeks Lol! I guess being stressed out makes me wanna SHOP ^_^

So this is the thing that I have been obsessing with, Well one of the many things lol!

So, this is what Philosophy claims:

Never let them see you shine oil and shine control velvet-touch primer helps reduce the appearance of oil, shine, and large pores. The unique formula contains natural plant extracts that help absorb and control excess oil while maintaining the skin's proper moisture levels. Antioxidant vitamin E protects skin against environmental attack, and a chamomile extract acts as an anti-irritant and anti-inflammatory to calm and soothe the skin. The velvet-touch primer also minimizes the appearance of large pores and provides a smooth, matte finish to the skin.

How to use it: Apply after moisturizer and before foundation or mix with your favorite foundation for instant oil and shine control. Massage a small amount between fingertips and pat onto the skin, concentrating on oily areas. Can be reapplied throughout the day over makeup, as needed.

I have used many primers in the past! Smashbox makes my skin even oilier than without it, and same with the rest because of the silicones in it.

This one has a lighter texture and is not sticky. It smells very "herby" if thats even a word =/
i guess it smells slightly of lavender and herbs, but not everwhelming and the scent does not linger. I do notice my skin is sooooo velvety after applying it! I also noticed that it DOES work, I have super oily skin and this stuff keeps it on check most of the day. I would say that I do let at least 8 hours pass before i blot, and when i do, it is not as oily as without it.

This set me back only $20 for 1oz tube , which is way less than Smashbox. a little goes a long way, but as always, I tend to abuse it in hopes that it works "more" lol!!!!

That is all for tonight, I have more skin care stuff. I guess i am obsessed with skincare and skin in general....dang it, and i want to go to med school and specialize in gastroenterology!!!!!!! Maybe "poopie" is not the right path, "Pimples" might be a better specialty for me lmao!

have you guys tried any good primers? Philosophy brands????
