Moon Rabbit Cosmetics

Hello lovelies.

I recently received some samples from Moon Rabbit Cosmetics for review consideration.  I received the sample-sized Valentine's Day set, and let me tell you, their sample sizes are huge compared to most other companies (1/4 tsp vs the standard 1/8 tsp)!!

Here are as few pictures.  As always, I have a hard time capturing the sparkle, but i did my best :)

Ahh, see the satiny, yet sparkly flecks :)?

This was added as a separate sample, not part of the collection
Blue Popsicle

Flash.  This is super shimmery and sparkly,
very pretty.

Blurry to show sparklies.

I am looking forward to playing with these.  I loved the Valentine's Day set, since its softer and on the neutral side (which i am a recent fan of).  My absolute favorites are Beau, Cupid, and Unrequited Love. Smitten is pretty as well, but the other shades are omg pretty, especially the dark one. It looks like a grayish taupe with brown undertones, very unique. Blue Popsicle is so diamondy shiny and glittery, I bet it will look insane if i foil it, since it is intense and super sparkly.

The pigmentation is good, very pigmented.  They swatched smoothly and one swipe was plenty, however, i did a couple just because my camera always washes out the intensity of the colors.

I have yet to test these to see how well they wear, and when i do, i will update this post. I am going to try the nude with the taupe/grey/brown one :)
As far as price goes, their prices are within reason, but a bit cheaper than other indie companies, which is a plus. Shipping is also affordable ($3) so that is not bad at all.  And the packaging, well i am so attracted to nicely packaged items lol.  This collection arrived in a ziplock baggie with red hearts all over, then the pigments were inside a pink mesh organza bag, and they were shrink wrapped, so there was absolutely no mess!

This is a brand new company, so their color selection is limited, but I have no doubt that they will be expanding their items as time passes.  The indie mineral makeup world is extremely competitive, and due to that, many companies are creating amazing complex colors.  I can't wait to see how Moon Rabbit cosmetics expands and the colors they create.

If you have a chance, check them out (link to their  shop is above) or stop by their FaceBook Fan Page and say hello :)
