Humphrey's Witch Hazel-Citrus

Hello...

As you have probably read in previous posts, I tend to have Oily skin, especially Oily nose !!!!!!! I have also mentioned that I am completely obsessed with the Korean Skincare brand called LANEIGE. This brand is excellent, but it does leave me a little broke, and with less money to splurge on makeup =D

I was at my local Health food store a few days ago and I happened to walk by Humphrey's Witch Hazel. I was hesitant, given the fact that I am a label "whore" when it comes to my LANEIGE skincare..but for $6.99, I thought it was worth the shot. Thry have different versions for different problems. I noticed one for Anti Redness, Anti Acne, for Dry skin etc.

What the Company Claims:

Our alcohol-free citrus toner uses the deep cleansing properties of witch hazel together with citrus extracts and meadowsweet to completely remove residue and regulate oil production. In addition, Vitamin C and lemon bioflavonoids help increase collagen synthesis and neutralize free radicals. This unique combination helps restore balance to oily complexions and prepares your skin for moisturizing.
1. Purifies, clarifies and refines pores
2. Removes and controls oil
3. Visibly reduces shine on the skin

Directions: After cleansing, and before makeup or moisturizer application moisten a soft cotton ball or pad with toner and gently wipe face and neck. For best results use morning and night to remove and control oil. Gentle enough for sensitive skin and all other skin types.

Ingredients: Filtered water, *aloe barbadensis leaf juice, hamamelis virginiana (witch hazel) water, vegetable glycerin, spiraea ulmaria (meadowsweet), pyrus malus (apple) seed vinegar, extracts of [*calendula officinalis (calendula), *chamomilla recutita (chamomile), *camellia sinensis (white tea), camellia sinensis (green tea), *lavandula angustifolia (lavender)], panthenol (pro-vitamin B5), ascorbic acid (vitamin C), bioflavonoids (lemon), allantoin, polysorbate 20, hydrogenated castor oil, citrus dulcis (orange) oil, citrus medicia limonum (lemon) oil, phenoxyethanol (rose essence), fragrance * Certified organic.

What I think:

I think I LOVE this stuff. It really controls oil. I went the entire day without makeup, just moisturizer and Neutrogena sunscreen (I dont usually apply cream sunscreen) and a light dusting of Palladio Rice Powder. MY skin was sooooo matte and oil free, it was unbelievable. The best part is that this product has a very faint scent, and no alcohol =D I think i will use this from now on instead of my $25 toner. This surpassed my other product's oil controlling power, and since i have an extremely oily, greasy, and oily, oily nose, this was too exciting to not share the news. I think I will run and get the Anti-Redness version as well!!!
